W.R. Carlson Roofing Policies
Thank you for considering WR Carlson Roofing for your roofing needs. We feel it is important to inform you of our standard practices, regular jobsite occurrences and what you can expect from our company as we move forward to provide you with high quality service and workmanship.
Although our work crews are self-sufficient, certain jobs may require that we have access to an electrical outlet, and running water especially on hot summer days.
Once our workers arrive, we spread tarps around the perimeter of the house to protect flower beds etc. Any lawn ornaments or decorations you may have in the work area should be removed to a safe place prior to our crew arriving. If you have any unstable decor on the walls inside, you may want to take those items down also.
Now that the project is under way, it is our policy that before the day’s end, roof dry-in will be installed over the work area to ensure that the roof is water tight.
If at any time you have questions, or concerns about the work being performed on your project please feel free to discuss these items with the foreman on site so that those details may be addressed immediately. We are not in the practice of making oral agreements and try to be as detailed with our proposals as possible so that there is no miscommunication. It is not uncommon to find rotten plywood or OSB board on the roof, even in unexpected places, our workers will replace any rotten lumber they discover.
There are a lot of nails used to put your roof back together, our crews will make their best effort to keep your walkways and driveway free of nails, but occasionally some might get missed. We do run magnets at the end of each day. We would ask that you take a moment to double check your driveway before parking your car and watch your step on your walkways so that no flat tires or punctured shoes occur.
Once again, we would like to thank you for considering WRCRS to take care of your Roofing needs. We hope that we will be your Roofing Contractor of choice and look forward to working with you.
